this song is dedicated to my dearest canoe teammates
yanhan,yihang,yimtong,lihui,rimmel
truly loved today's training
though its just the six of us now
(seniors, we miss you dearly)
small yet cozy
its the best start anyone could ever asked for
laughing at ourselves in our swimwears
swimming in the high school pool non-stop for one entire hour
while the girl who refused to wear her hot chilli-red, star-studded swimsuit
ran along the track alone with much determination (grins)
the 80cents raisin buns accompanied with 95cents blueberry buns tasted superb
right yihang?haha.

canoe is not just about paddling on waters
or gym or circuits or swimming or running
but its more about
sharing with each other
bits of our everyday lives
and living our passion
so much that it has become an integral part of my life

canoe nationals - the big day is finally over
we won fourth
and the canoe guys came in second
im so proud of our seniors!
throughout the competition
the fighting spirit never did fade away
giving our teammates going down to compete our last hugs and encouragement
seeking shelter when it stormed during the finals
cheering our boats down the lane with hearts trembling with anxiety and prayers
seeing the boats cross the finishing lines with tears of joy and relief
and ending it with a glamorous shot at the pontoon.
